RC Bench (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
When you create an account we collect your email address and optional display name. As you use the app we store the RC setup data you enter (differential oils, shock settings, tyre choices, track conditions, etc.), your subscription status, and basic usage analytics such as feature access counts.
We also collect device information such as device type, operating system version, and a unique device identifier for analytics and troubleshooting purposes.
We do not collect precise GPS coordinates. If you grant location permission, we use your approximate location solely to fetch local weather data for track condition recommendations.
Your setup data is used to provide personalised AI recommendations, store and retrieve your setups, and enable team sharing features you opt into. Usage analytics help us understand which features are most valuable so we can improve the app. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
RC Bench uses AI-powered features to provide personalised setup recommendations, chat responses, and analytical suggestions. To provide these features, we send certain data to our AI service provider.
AI Service Provider: OpenAI
Data sent to OpenAI includes your setup parameters (suspension settings, differential oils, tyre choices, spring rates, etc.), track conditions, and profile information (skill level, years of experience). Your email address is NOT sent to OpenAI.
OpenAI processes this data solely to generate responses and, under their API data usage policy, does not use API inputs or outputs to train their models. For more information, see OpenAI’s privacy policy.
By using AI features in the App, you consent to this data being processed by OpenAI as described above.
RC Bench uses the following third-party services:
Each service processes data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data required for each service to function.
Your data is stored on secure cloud servers. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device using platform-native secure storage.
Your account data and setups are retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at support@rcbench.app or by using the in-app “Delete Account” feature in the Profile screen. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

RC Bench is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us at support@rcbench.app and we will promptly delete it.
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our service providers OpenAI and Supabase process data. These countries may have different data protection laws than your country of residence. By using the App, you consent to these transfers. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers in accordance with applicable law.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
